Review: SCHWARZKOPF XXL Mystic Violet hair dye.

Review: XXL mystic violet.
A couple of weeks ago I decide my hair needed a change. So I went out to SuperDrug and went straight to the Schwarzkopf section as it is the most reliable hair dye I have ever used, but only with natural colours.. I've used unnatural colours from here before but I've never really been too sure about them.
Anyway, I was looking at the colours and this purple hair dye caught my eye.
I decided to go out on a whim and buy it (what could really go wrong, right?) The worse that could've gone wrong was that it didn't work on my hair, which at the time was light brown.
HINT; if you've never used this brand before please do a skin test because all your hair falling out or skin burning is not a great thing :')
So yeah, I bought it and when I got home I looked at reviews online on YouTube and blogs like this one. Most people said the hair colour didn't show through or didn't take to their hairs, but they all had pretty dark hair anyway.
I dyed my hair, starting at the roots then going to the ends and waited 45 minutes for it (slightly longer than stated but best to be on the safe side..)
When I washed my hair out it looked really dark but as I dried it and set it how I wanted you could see the brightness coming through. I actually loved the colour BUT it faded so quickly over the past two weeks, especially it being a permanent colour. At the moment it's a slightly faded greyish/Lilac it took me a couple of days to get used to but I actually love it, it's kind of a 90's faded, grungy colour.
I definitely recommend it to anyone with lighter hair and I will definitely be going back to this colour.
Thankyou for reading this, even if it is more of a story than a review heheh.
-Beth.
